La Canterie is a listed ancienne fermette longere typical of the Touraine area of the Loire Valley. Although no longer a working farm the buildings have been restored to respect the traditional use with original stonework, flooring and beams. We are surrounded by open farmland with a large forest behind containing plenty of wildlife from owls and bats through to deer and the very occasional boar. The chambres d’hotes /bed & breakfast is set up in a dépendance next to the main house and consists of three ensuite bedrooms each with a double bed. Breakfast is served in the dépendance downstairs which also has a small sofa corner. |
